The Pulsar Trail is available with the choice of a 384x288 pixel sensor or a 640x480 pixel sensor.
• 384x288 is cost effective for all general hunting and pest control.
• 640x480 pixel sensor is has a wider field-of-view, clearer zoom and is first choice amongst professional pest controllers. |
The XP 640x480 sized sensor produces a wider field-of-view than the XQ 384x288 sensor. When zoomed-in to 2x magnification, the XP models hold similar clarity to the lens equivalent XQ models at 1x or native magnification. The wider F-O-V is especially useful for rapidly locating targets at night and for moving targets. This is very useful when used with Picture-In-Picture mode enabling a higher magnification for precision shooting whilst maintaining a wide F-O-V.
The Trail LRF is fitted with a 1000 metres laser rangefinder that displays distance and angle-of-inclination inside the screen. The rangefinder can be set to metres or yards, and has single reading and scan modes. Whilst scanning, shots can be taken with great precision through the P-I-P. The rangefinder can also be set to true horizontal distance for shooting upwards or downwards.
The Pulsar Trail LRF is supplied with a QD Weaver mount. Other mounts available on request.
